RACE PARTICIPANT WAIVER

Each participant acknowledges and accepts the following terms and conditions of participation in the event they have registered for:

I agree and accept, and on behalf of anyone I have registered, as a condition of acceptance of my / their entry in the event I have registered, my heirs, executors and administrators hereby waive any claim, right of claim, cause of any action which I or they might have arising out of loss of my or their  life, or injury, damage or loss of any description whatsoever which I or the others I registered, may suffer in the course or consequence of mine or the others’ entry or participation in the event.

I acknowledge that participating in such an event is potentially hazardous. I and those I am registering for the event, assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic and the conditions of the event terrain and course, and all such risks being known and appreciated by me and the others I am registering.

This waiver releases and discharges and operates in favour of all persons, organisations and entities involved with, or engaged in promoting or staging the event and the employees, agents, representatives and officers of any of them.

I attest that I and those I have registered are physically fit and medically able to complete part or the entirety of the event without risking my / our health or life. We consent to receive medical treatment that may be advisable in the event of illness or injuries suffered by me / us during this event.

I agree on my behalf and those I have registered, to give permission for the free use of our names, voices or pictures in any broadcast, telecast, advertising promotion or other account of this event.

I acknowledge on my behalf and those I have registered, that I understand no liability of any kind will attach to any person, organisation or body involved in connection with the event in case of cancellation or postponement.

I agree on my behalf and those I have registered, to abide by the Terms & Conditions of the event as stated above and on literature and other material distributed in connection with the event. I understand by registering myself and others for this event I fully accept these Terms & Conditions and these Terms and Conditions are subject to change without prior notice.

The event organiser reserves the right to reject any entry, and the right to change the details of the event without prior notice.

I confirm on my behalf and those I am registering, that we have medical insurance to participate in the event and am covered for the participation whilst in the UAE. I understand any medical treatment in the UAE may incur a charge and I and those I am registering, have the necessary insurance/coverage.
