Every November, Dubai comes together for a run that is about far more than finish times. The Emirates NBD Unity Run is the UAE’s leading community run for people of determination and a powerful celebration of unity, inclusion and togetherness. It is a community for everyone.
Walk, Run for Unity in Diversity
Built on the message “Walk, Run for Unity in Diversity”, the Unity Run shows that sport belongs to everyone. People of determination and their buddies join families, friends, schools and colleagues of every age and ability in a carnival atmosphere. The event raises awareness of accessibility for people of determination in education, the workplace and social settings and promotes inclusiveness in all areas of society.
A Fun Walk or Run for Every Age
Choose the untimed 3KM fun walk/run for all ages or step up to the timed 5KM and 10KM races in youth and adult categories. Whether you are a first time walker, a keen runner or a parent pushing a stroller, there is a place for you. People of determination join free with a SANAD Card or UAE People of Determination Card and may bring one free companion. Children under 10 enter the 3KM Walk/Run free.
Join Your Way
Take part as an individual, with family and friends, as a school or university team, with your company or with a running club or community group. Corporate team packages make it easy for employees to run together for a cause that matters.
Part of Dubai’s Fitness Calendar
Held annually during the Dubai Fitness Challenge 30×30, the Unity Run gives residents a meaningful way to stay active while supporting a cause that strengthens community bonds. It is organized by FittGROUP under the umbrella of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Community Sports Initiative.
Inside the Unity Run Village
The celebration continues beyond the finish line. The Emirates NBD Unity Run Village offers festive fun for the whole family, with entertainment, food outlets, kids activities and an arts and crafts market. Community partners, including centres for people of determination, share their work and connect with visitors.
Powered by Partners
The Unity Run grows every year thanks to Emirates NBD and a network of supporting sponsors and partners who believe in an inclusive community. Together they turn one morning into lasting impact for people of determination and their families.
