Every great event starts the same way: a crowd of strangers at a start line. Different ages. Different fitness levels. Different backgrounds. Then the countdown ends and something changes. By the finish line, that crowd has become a community.
That is what FittGROUP is about. Since 2013, we have created some of the region’s best-known community, business and international sports events across Dubai, the UAE and the Middle East. BBC World News, CNN and leading regional press have covered them and they have reached audiences worldwide on social and digital platforms. Everything we build comes down to one thing: bringing people together through sport.
Our work rests on three pillars: Competition, Community and Collaboration. Here is a look at what we have delivered and what is coming next.
Sports for All: Every Age, Every Level, Every Background
A first-time walker and a seasoned marathoner can stand side by side at a FittGROUP event. Our races offer distances for everyone, from relaxed 3KM walk/runs to timed 5KM, 10KM, 21KM, 50KM, 100KM and 270KM races. Inclusion shows up in the details too. At the Emirates NBD Unity Run, children under 10 enter the 3KM Walk/Run free. People of Determination with a SANAD Card also enter free and can bring one companion.

Emirates NBD Unity Run
Walk, Run for Unity in Diversity. The UAE’s leading charity event for People of Determination. Families, schools, corporate teams, sponsors and the wider Dubai community come together to celebrate inclusion.
- Distances: A 3KM Walk/Run for everyone, plus timed 5KM and 10KM runs for youth and adults
- Run Village offers entertainment, refreshments and kids’ activities for the whole family
Organized under the Hamdan bin Mohammed Community Sports Initiative. People of Determination and their buddies are warmly encouraged to join the carnival atmosphere.
Al Marmoom Dune Run
The Ultimate Dune Race Across the Desert. Race across desert dunes. Run through the Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve, home to natural beauty, endangered wildlife and ancient heritage. Towering dunes and rolling ridges test your strength and endurance. Elite athletes, first-time runners and corporate teams all take part and a leave-no-trace commitment protects the desert.
Al Marmoom Women’s Cycling Challenge
The Region’s Leading Cycling Race Dedicated to Women. A women-only international race at Al Qudra Cycle Track with 20KM, 40KM and 70KM routes.
Ramadan Night Walk
A Community Walk for All. An evening walk at Dubai Silicon Oasis with 3KM and 5KM options, a relaxed way for families, friends and neighbors to move together during the holy month.
Dubai Investments Green Run 2027
A Community Run Supporting a Greener Future. Over 3,500 people joined the 5th edition and the 6th returns to Dubai Investments Park with 3KM and 5KM options for all ages. It is an environmental run with real purpose:
Red Bull Gym Clash
Crowning the Greatest Gym on Earth. Gyms go head to head in a national fitness competition that tests strength, stamina and teamwork. A stage for hybrid fitness fans and competitive athletes.
Wings for Life World Run
Running for Those Who Can’t Run. An international run supporting the spinal cord injury cause. There is no set distance, only a shared purpose.
Al Marmoom Desert Half Marathon
The Ultimate Half Marathon Across the Desert. An international endurance event with 5KM, 10KM and 21KM distances for runners who want a true desert challenge.

- Pocari Sweat Run Dubai (October 2025, Expo City Dubai) – Sweat for Success. An international run with 5KM, 10KM and 21KM distances.
- Mama Sarah Obama SOWO Half Marathon (2013 to 2019, Siaya County, Kenya) – 21KM of Purpose. An international endurance run and a reminder that our roots are in sport with purpose.

- Spirit of the UAE Walk (May 2026, Dubai Silicon Oasis) – One Flag. One Walk. One Nation. A 3KM walk celebrating national pride.
- ActivateME Family Fest (January 2026, Dubai Silicon Oasis) – Step Into a World of Endless Opportunities. A family festival that made fitness a day out for everyone.
- World Bicycle Day 2025 Ride (June 2025, Dubai Investments Park) – A 20KM community ride to celebrate World Bicycle Day.
- DIP Cycling Challenge (Dubai Investments Park) – A Cycling Challenge Promoting Community Well-Being in UAE. Routes of 40KM, 20KM, 10KM and 6KM for beginners and experienced riders alike.
- Wellness and Music in the Desert (November 2024, Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve) – Yoga, Music and Meditation. An international wellness experience in the heart of the desert.
- World Environment Day (2024, Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, Dubai) – Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future. A community event focused on environmental awareness.
