Event Director Ruth Dickinson

‘Women cycling is hugely popular in the UAE and growing as a sport globally. As an activity, cycling is attracting more and more women, and in Dubai we have excellent facilities with easy access to first class cycle tracks, and this has encouraged more and more women to take up cycling competitively as well as socially. The DP World Women’s Cycling Challenge seeks to encourage women at every level of riding capability. Our new distance of 15KM will encourage younger riders and newcomers to the sport. We are delighted that Pink Caravan UAE will be bringing their bus as our aim is to encourage a healthy lifestyle and general wellness amongst women. We are looking forward to seeing women ride to compete, or cycle just for fun and enjoy a great morning in the beautiful Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve.’
