UAE TEEN SPORTS & FITNESS AWARDS 2019
The 4th edition of the annual UAE Teen Sports & Fitness Awards has been launched and will take place Friday 26th April at Emirates Golf Club.
The Awards are held under the Patronage of Dr Abdulla Al Karam Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and Board Member Dubai Sports Council. The Awards are supported by the UAE National Olympic Committee, Abu Dhabi and Dubai sports councils and REPs UAE.
Ruth Dickinson, Event Director; ‘The Awards are now very firmly established as a key event and accolade for schools, clubs, teams, coaches and individual athletes across the UAE. Winning a UAE Teen Sports & Fitness Award is recognised as something valuable and worth achieving.
Ruth Dickinson; ‘This year we have a number of exciting developments, including new categories, giving new opportunities for organisations and individuals to enter. The Awards are fully inclusive and include categories for athletes of determination. We have created a new Performing Arts category recognizing the many thousands of talented students actively involved.’
The UAE Teen Sports & Fitness Awards celebrate the excellent sporting and fitness achievements of all youth in the UAE and award and recognize schools, colleges, academies, clubs, and sports federations as well as the dedication of individual coaches and students, showcasing the achievements of individuals who have excelled and those who have helped others to achieve.
Key Dates:
Entries opened: Wednesday 9th January
Submissions close: Wednesday 13th March
First round of judging to take place Monday 18th March
Second round of judging will be first week of April
Awards Gala dinner, Friday 26th April at Emirates Golf Club
